Episode 10 - How to be Happy

In this episode, we tackle the concept of Happiness. This is a concept that is hard to define for most people, but we try our best to break down what this concept means to us, and to others looking to understand it. To provide a backbone to our discussion, we use Aristotle’s concept of Happiness as he defined with his own philosophy. We look at the four levels of Happiness expressed by Aristotle and try to define it as best as we can. We then use these levels to show what Happiness means to us, using our own lives to provide context for that feeling.

The Merge this season is split into three different episodes, so we discuss how the season got to this point, and what we think will happen in the future. We review our predictions for the game at this point, and our merge teams, and who has changed as characters over the season.

In this episode, we discuss Zombies and the Zombie Apocalypse. We discuss the different zombies that exist in media, and go into depth with which zombies we believe is the most logical. We speak about Max Brooks, the foremost expert on zombies, and how his books have affected our view of zombies themselves. We also discuss the last of us, and how realistic it is portraying the cordyceps virus and their network of a micelium network. We also talk about how we will react in a zombie virus, and what is essential to survive in this scenario, what you need to look out for.

Episode 7 – Pokémon Pokémon Pokémon Pokémon Pokémon Pokémon

This episode we are discussing one of our favourite topics, Pokémon. We go down memory lane, with our first contact with Pokémon as a game, as an anime and even the Pokémon cards. We start by speaking about the Anime and use that to venture into the other aspects of Pokémon we love. We go into a little technical information on the Pokémon games, and how we are still playing the game after all this time, and what is our final team for the games we have played. In this episode, we are discussing football, and the love we have for the game. We discuss how we got into football, and how our friends impacted this, our love for the Champions League and football in general. We discuss our teams, Arsenal and Liverpool and their battles in the Champions League. We discuss our favourite footballers and their influence on our love of the game. We also talk about the current English Premier League season and what we expect to happen in the coming months. The conversation also starts another one on media surrounding football, and what we look forward to because of that.
